farmer's almanac

i leave for michigan in about 2 days. it's not on my favorite places list but the newspaper i'm going to work for is well known in my profession and produces excellent long term work on a regular basis. long term projects are my weakness so this should be a very uncomfortable experience (in a good way).

however, i do hate cold weather and everyone knows michigan in the winter is not a tropical paradise. the last time i lived in michigan, the town i stayed in received a record 50 + inches of snow from december to may. the new place i'm going is 3 hours north of my old town. and, my mom adds, the winter is supposed to be about 20 degrees colder than average, according to the farmer's almanac.

down time

for another week or so, there won't be any new pics on this blog. i don't have the means to put pics up on the web right now and i'm not really shooting. tell your friends to check out my blog. it's much easier to update this than to update my website. soo, check out my website and check out my blog. and if you have any work, give me a call. i'm michigan based until january and after that i'll probably be kentucky bound, at least for a while.
